Demi Lovato unleashes a powerful new “HAPPY ENDING” video

Demi Lovato has shared a new live performance video for her HOLY FVCK song “HAPPY ENDING.” In their cover interview with Alternative Press, Lovato reflected on how writing the song fresh out of treatment affected its creation. “New sobriety can be really challenging for people, and it was really challenging for me,” they explain. “Some of the most damaging experiences were when I had a lot of time sober, and I just wasn’t happy anymore, but people around me were pushing me to be the face of this, do this interview or do this campaign.” Check out the video below, and grab a physical copy of the interview here. —Neville Hardman

The first trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance with Somebody. Actor Naomi Ackie will portray Houston, with Stanley Tucci as record producer Clive Davis. I Wanna Dance with Somebody will chronicle Houston’s whirlwind rise to fame, impressive milestones and the tragedies that transpired throughout her life. Kasi Lemmons (Harriet) directed the movie, with Bohemian Rhapsody screenwriter Anthony McCarten providing the script. The film hits theaters Dec. 21. —Alessandro DeCaro

Fontaines D.C. tear up The Late Late Show With James Corden performing “Roman Holiday” 

Irish post-punks Fontaines D.C. stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden to perform their dreamy single “Roman Holiday.” The track comes from their exceptional third album Skinty Fia, and the live performance shows just how effortlessly cool and in sync the band are with jangling guitars, reverb-laden atmospheres and frontman Grian Chatten’s intoxicating vocals. Fontaines D.C. are set to kick off their fall North American tour this weekend, with an appearance at the Primavera Sound Festival in Los Angeles Sept. 17. —Alessandro DeCaro
