We are just a few months away from seeing Emma Stonebring Cruella De Vil back to life on the silver screen. This May, Disneyis officially releasing Cruella, an origin story about the iconic villain from101 Dalmatians.
Now, fans are finally getting a look at the film’s official poster and it’s catching punk fans’ attention for a very good reason.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cruella tells the story of Cruella De Vil in the 1980s, before she was terrorizing those adorable pups in the original 1961 film. The iconic character was originally voiced by Betty Lou Gerson before Glenn Close took on Cruella for the 1996 live-action remake.
All the way back in 2019, fans got their first look at Emma Stone as Cruella De Vil in the upcoming film. However, rather than dressed in fur, Stone’s Cruella is covered head to toe in leather, offering a new take on the classic Disney villain. Cruella is slated to arrive on May 28, 2021. Alongside Stone, Cruella also starsEmma Thompson, Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry among others.

Now, Disney has finally unveiled the official poster for Cruella and it’s definitely catching punk fans’ attention. The black and white photo shows Stone in heavy eye makeup, bold lipstick and split dye hair, reminding music fans of past fashion fads and people they’ve see in their local Hot Topic.
