MAGNET editor-in-chief Eric T. Miller at Live Aid, July 13, 1985. He’s the 13-year-old stud in the glasses. (Not the shirtless stud with the shades in the top row—the nerdy stud holding the shirt.) Also, today marks the fifth anniversary of the passing of Eric’s friend’s father, who not only took these photos, but was kind enough to take him, his friend and his friend’s sister to a once-in-a-lifetime concert that lasted 14 hours in 100-degree heat. We miss you dearly.
