If you are into astrology, you have probably implemented it in a lot of areas of your life to figure out who you truly are. Have you ever applied it to your favorite ’90s anthems? Thanks to the stars and zodiac signs, astrology has given us a way to find out which ’90s tune you really are.

Your sun sign is what you likely know as your zodiac sign. It’s based on your birthday and gives you a rundown of personality traits that probably feel extremely familiar. There are several other planets that create that special blend of magic that is you, but the sun sign tells you the basics and what you need to know.

We figured out which ’90s anthem you are based on your zodiac (or sun) sign so you don’t have to. Do you want to know if “Fade Into You” or “Smells Like Teen Spirit” fits your zodiac sign? Find out below.

Aries – “Don’t Speak” by No Doubt

This No Doubt song is perfect for the impatience of a fire sign, particularly Aries. Aries like to get to the point quickly so they can move on to bigger and better things. “Don’t Speak” has a fiery energy that’s on another level, just like an Aries. Aries don’t put up with excuses but also have soft hearts inside all the burning, making them defensive when hurt, which follows this song completely.

Taurus – “Zombie” by the Cranberries

Taurus people are known best for their stubbornness. However, Taurus energy is also nurturing and wants to take care of people. Thus, “Zombie” by the Cranberries is Taurus’ ’90s anthem to its core. The song highlights the motherly nature of Taurus and complements their eagerness to love and care about the world around them.

Gemini – “Creep” by Radiohead

Geminis are one of the most adaptable signs of the zodiac. Because of that, they often find themselves waking up each day a new person entirely. That’s what makes “Creep” the perfect match for Gemini. Radiohead sing about not belonging and wanting to be perfect in the eyes of who they love, and that couldn’t be more of a Gemini if they tried.

Cancer – “Only Wanna Be With You” by Hootie & The Blowfish

Cancers love to love, and that may come as no surprise considering they’re one of the most emotional signs of the zodiac. That being said, “Only Wanna Be With You” is the ’90s song for Cancer without a doubt. This song is all about wanting to be with someone despite their flaws (to a fault) and all things monogamy. Hootie & The Blowfish nailed Cancers with this one.

Leo – You Oughta Know” by Alanis Morissette

Leos are ruled by the sun and light up every room they walk into. Little known fact about Leos, though: They love deeply, hurt severely and hold on to the things they love fiercely. That’s what makes “You Oughta Know” the song for Leo. Alanis Morissette talks about love and loss, as well as what it means to hang on to that lost love (and let them know what they lost, too). That confidence that Leo has is unmatched.

Virgo – “Doll Parts” by Hole

Virgos aren’t always known for their emotional side. They like to be organized and professional most of the time, processing things patiently and internally. However, Virgos strive to be perfect, and because of that, they can find themselves never feeling like they’re enough. That’s what makes “Doll Parts” by Hole the epitome of Virgo energy. Always striving for perfection and never realizing they are amazing just as they are.

Libra – “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star

Libras are serial monogamists and tend to mold themselves into the person they’re dating. “Fade Into You” encapsulates what it means to love as a Libra—wanting to save their loved ones and slowly fading into their personalities while also learning about themselves. Mazzy Star highlight these parts of being a Libra that many wouldn’t normally see.

Scorpio – Killing In The Name” by Rage Against The Machine

Scorpios are known for their mystery and intense introspection, but they also can be quite the troublemakers and are always the life of the party. That being said, “Killing In The Name” is the Scorpio anthem, as it shakes things up. Rage Against The Machine use this song to stir the pot, which is something a Scorpio knows how to do too well.

Sagittarius – “Friday I’m In Love” by the Cure

While Sagittariuses aren’t the first to settle down, they are one of the most positive signs in the zodiac. Sagittariuses live for a good time and are always hopeful for the future, which makes “Friday I’m In Love” the perfect ’90s song for this fire sign. Being in love may not come easy to a Sagittarius, but optimism sure does, making the Cure’s song their most promising ’90s pair.

Capricorn – “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” by Lenny Kravitz

Capricorns are fiercely determined in everything they do and aren’t ones to walk away from a fight. Because of this, “It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over” is the optimal ’90s song for a Capricorn. Lenny Kravitz sings about fighting for the one he loves, just as a Capricorn would. They won’t give up until it’s really over.

Aquarius – “Down By The Water” by PJ Harvey

Aquarians are known for being unique and not strong with emotion. However, they’re extremely introspective and think logically about the things that happen to them. “Down By The Water” encapsulates Aquarius energy in more ways than one. Not only are Aquarians known as the water bearers (meaning they literally go down by the water), but they also spend a lot of time with their inner selves, reflecting on life. Thus, PJ Harvey knocks this song out of the part for Aquarians.

Pisces – “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana

Kurt Cobain was a major Pisces, and as a result, “Smells Like Teen Spirit” truly embodies that Pisces energy. Pisces often live in their dream world, yet they love to be in the moment. They’re a walking contradiction, which is what Nirvana talk about throughout this ’90s grunge staple. Loving their people and being present in life while also always dreaming of a different future is what Pisces are all about.
