Gossip Girl was probably one of the most iconic teen drama series to grace our screens in the 2000s. It was like a modern-day soap opera filled with scandals, deception and loads of drama. And lucky for us, HBO Max is working on a reboot of the series to bring it into the modern-day era.

It’s been more than eight years since fans have said goodbye to the group of friends from the elite Manhattan prep school. However, viewers will be returning to the Upper East Side soon for the Gossip Girl reboot. Filming for the reboot is currently underway and is expected to air sometime this year. And according to Harper’s Bazaar, the new series is picking up right where the original show left off.

“Eight years after the original website went dark, a new generation of New York private school teens are introduced to the social surveillance of Gossip Girl. The prestige series will address just how much social media—and the landscape of New York itself—has changed in the intervening years.”

Recently, Ed Westwick brought back his Chuck Bass character from the show in his debut video on TikTok, which makes us even more excited about the reboot.

In honor of all the Gossip Girl news, we decided to figure out which OG character you are based on your zodiac sign. You can find out below.

Aries – Nate Archibald

Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) is stubborn, impulsive and as in tune with his values as any typical Aries. He’s down-to-earth and honest, and he tends to make mistakes that are naive but don’t totally go against his beliefs.

Taurus – Chuck Bass

A Taurus is typically a larger-than-life person who loves the finer things in life, which is the epitome of Chuck Bass. Like this earth sign, he can be manipulative to keep people circling his orbit, but throughout the series, he has a bit of a redemption arc that shows his true insecurity and softer side.

Gemini – Georgina Sparks

Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) is a textbook Gemini. She’s cunning, thrives in social events and loves the chess game of navigating the world of the Upper East Side’s elite. She knows how to work any situation to her favor and has that rebellious streak inside every Gemini.

Cancer – Dorota Kishlovsky

Cancers are selfless and compassionate caregivers, just like Dorota Kishlovsky, who’s like Blair’s true mother figure. She’s not judgmental and will do anything to help out someone she cares about but can be a bit sensitive and overly emotional at times.

Leo – Serena van der Woodsen

It only makes sense for the It Girl to be a Leo. Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) is seductive, powerful and takes over a room, like this boisterous sign. She can be irresponsible when doing things to get attention but never has bad intentions. And she’s constantly worried about fitting into her place in the social scene and has issues with commitment and trust, which sounds like a Leo to us.

Virgo – Ivy Dickens

Virgos have a mysterious side to them, and there’s nothing darker than living a double life. Ivy Dickens initially pretends to be Charlie, someone who has the Virgo qualities of being shy and reserved. But you have to be careful because this sign can be deceptive, like Ivy’s elaborate scheme to get rich quick.

Libra – Dan Humphrey

Whether you like it or not, the great equalizer in Gossip Girl is the mysterious person behind the blog, which ends up being Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley). Aside from that, Dan has the Libra qualities of having a sense of justice, being judgmental and possessing a wealth of knowledge, which is why sometimes they rely on others to make decisions for them. That sounds a lot like everyone in the group feeding stories to Gossip Girl, so you see what we’re getting at.

Scorpio – Blair Waldorf

Scorpios are calculating and can put some elaborate plots into motion to make things go their way, and there’s no one better at that than Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester). She’s the antihero of the story, which seems inherently connected to this sign. She has trust issues, is confident on the outside and will fiercely protect those who she does allow get close to her, which isn’t many people. A Scorpio’s eye is on the prize. In Blair’s case, that’s being at the top of Manhattan’s social pyramid.

Sagittarius – Jenny Humphrey

Every Sagittarius has a wild side that comes out sooner or later, fueled by their inherent need to seek adventure, and that’s the epitome of Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen). She’s a shy, innocent girl who gets fed up with seeking approval from others and embodies a stronger, independent version of herself.

Capricorn – Lily van der Woodsen

Capricorns are all about getting to their goals. In Lily’s case, that means maintaining her image and social status, no matter if it entails abandoning relationships or throwing others under the bus. She’s also cold on the outside but protective when she needs to be, just like Capricorns, who are all about getting down to business.

Aquarius – Vanessa Abrams

Vanessa Abrams is unlike anyone else on the show—she’s an activist, holds morals above all else and always stays true to herself, which is why she’s an independent Aquarius. This sign tends to beat to their own drum, and that’s how Vanessa attempts to navigate the Upper East Side, which ultimately leads to her downfall.

Pisces – Rufus Humphrey

Rufus Humphrey is generous, creative and always sees the best in people, like Pisces who are quite in tune with the world around them. Like this water sign, Rufus has problems expressing his emotions and communicating them to others, but deep down, his intentions are always pure.
