Over the past few weeks, Lil Uzi Vert has taken the internet by a storm with his $24 million pink diamond forehead implant. Earlier this month, the rapper unveiled his latest body modification which quickly got the meme treatment online. Soon after, he revealed that he could actually die from the implant. However, the jeweler behind the diamond then explained whether or not the face implant is actually safe.

Along with his plans to get Elon Musk‘s Neuralink brain chip and apparently being compared to Prince, Lil Uzi Vert has been working on some new music. In fact, it looks like he is getting ready to finally release that collaboration with Travis Scott. For a while now, both Scott and Lil Uzi Vert have been dropping hints that a new track is on the way. Last week, Lil Uzi Vert even tweeted his apparent reaction to the upcoming song.

Now, Lil Uzi Vert has shared a new clip of the upcoming collaboration. Recently, a few lucky fans ran into the rapper on the street. After exchanging a few words, Lil Uzi Vert gave the fans a quick little taste of the new song before promptly running away from them. The rapper really only shares about four seconds of the track, but it does offer a little bit of insight into what the new collaboration may be.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Lil Uzi Vert has run off in the middle of something. Back in 2019, he ran away from Nardwuar again in the middle of an interview. It seems as though that’s his go-to move when things get a little awkward.

Although Lil Uzi Vert has been working on new music, a lot of his focus has been on his latest body modification. Last week, Lil Uzi Vert revealed the real reason he got a $24 million diamond implanted in his head. As it turns out, he was worried about losing the massive rock. So, he made the rational decision to implant it in his body rather than making it into a piece of jewelry he may lose.

“I’m Lil Uzi,” he tells Fat Joe in an interview. “I’m turnt up. So $24 million on a ring is the stupidest idea because I’m gonna look down and that ring ain’t gon’ be there. I know me. I wake up in odd places and different sceneries.”
