Over the weekend, Machine Gun Kelly and MOD SUN finally released their Tickets To My Downfall musical Downfalls High. The film, which premiered on Facebook, had an impressive opening weekend of over 16 million viewers. Downfalls High is now available to stream in full on YouTube.

Machine Gun Kelly recently opened up about Downfalls High on the Late Late Show. Ahead of airing a “concert for aliens” performance from the film, he revealed why a tragic love story is at the center of the movie.

“The theme of falling in love that you see in movies is always that if they fall out of love they get over it. And they come back with a new relationship or they come back from it and they just triumph,” he says. “To me, love is kind of hopeless. You know, without it it feels almost like death. So he [Chase Hudson’s character] loses this person that he loves and he never is okay after it. It’s a visual journey through the album not seen autobiographically. It’s not about me, which is cool because obviously I wrote the album from my perspective, but the movie gives the album a whole different life and whole different world.”

As well, he also confirmed that he has witnessed a number of UFOs over the years. In fact, he claims he encountered otherworldly lifeforms just last week.

“Homie, I saw life on this planet that was from another planet two nights ago, over a lake in Thousand Oaks,” he tells Corden. “A red orb came out of nowhere, went and disappeared again.”

He also recalls the time he saw the “same exact orb” while vacationing in Bora Bora.
“I was in Bora Bora a week before that Hawaiian blue orb over the Pacific or whatever,” he continues. “Bora Bora is also in the Pacific and I saw that same exact orb that they were talking about in Hawaii and I saw the exact same thing fly by and disappear over a mountain. They’re out here.”

Machine Gun Kelly is not the only celebrity to recently open up about their encounters with UFOs. Back in August, Post Malone told Joe Rogan on his podcast that he witnessed his first UFO when he was just 16. As well, both Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus have also shared their encounters with extraterrestrials over the past few months.
