David’s art reminds me of wild dancing at the Capitol Theatre during the IPU (1991) and subsequent festivals in Olympia (YoYo and Ladyfest). Not necessarily during our sets. In fact, for sure not during our set because no one ever dances when we play, and if they do, there’s usually some kind of a problem about to happen. Someone is going to try singing the song louder than me or try to get onstage and play the drums, which is why I always hide the other bands’ drumsticks. No, it’s never a good sign if there is dancing during our set.
