Post Malone is one of the popualr musicians currently and the popstar is quite the rock and metal fan. He often displays his love for bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Pantera and covered songs on multiple occassions.

Post Malone performs Pearl Jam’s ‘Last Kiss’

The rapper treated his fans to another rock cover during his performance at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle in Rome, Italy. Malone shared a teaser on his Instagram with a clip of him playing “Last Kiss”, a 1961 track originally by Wayne Cochran, which was popularized by Pearl Jam in 1999 on the band’s “No Boundaries” charity album, and later on the 2003 “Lost Dogs” rarities compilation.

The rapper promised that the full video of the performance will be “coming soon”, but meanwhile you can check out the clip below:

Meanwhile, Pearl Jam had to cancel some shows recently amid Vedder’s health issues. The band is scheduled to return to a live stage only in September when they start their Autumn North American tour. The band kicked off the tour on Sept. 1 in Quebec City, Canada.

The concert also served to promote the band’s latest album, 2020’s “Gigaton”, which was featured on the setlist with 5 songs. Besides the usual Pearl Jam classics, the group included a version of Prince’s “Purple Rain” with a little help from touring collaborator Josh Klinghoffer.

The band cancelled their 3 last shows. It happened as there were concerns over frontman Eddie Vedder’s vocal health. Though they were told to stop the tour, the band went back to action to wrap up their European Summer tour.
