There’s no question that Billie Eilish is one of the most iconic young artists in the world right now. Besides her amazing musical talents, her many different hairstyles deserve a place in the Hair Hall of Fame (if that’s even a real thing). Eilish’s ability to pull off every single color she tries truly makes all of us Manic Paniclovers jealous.
Even when she tries a color she hates, such as blue, it still somehow looks incredible. “Here’s what’s annoying: I hate the color blue—it’s my least favorite color. I don’t know how I ended up dyeing it blue,” she told BuzzFeed in 2019. “I was told that whoever dyed my hair in October [2018] used a permanent blue, so that shit is not coming out. I have sat in that stupid salon chair for hours and hours…and that bitch will not get the fuck out of my hair.”
“It’s not like we’re making songs about quarantine. We’re just in a different mindset than we would be otherwise,” Eilish told Vanity Fair. “And that’s just how everything is. It’s the butterfly effect. It’s like if you hadn’t done this three years ago, maybe you wouldn’t be doing this three years later. It’s just the way that it is. At the same time, this is the most time off I’ve ever had in my life, first of all. And especially since this all started like five years ago.”
“They weren’t signed, and I thought that maybe I would try and sign them. They were so incredibly talented and just special people,” Leto told James Corden. “The music is one thing, but I think they’re just incredibly intelligent, really empathetic, just really good people, and I quite like them a lot.”
Even though they didn’t sign with Leto, Eilish did join him at Music Midtown in 2018 to perform “Hurricane” together.
