Raf Edmonds, Buzzcocks’ manager, RIPThe manager of the trailblazing post-punk band dies at 79.

Raf Edmonds was Buzzcocks and Pete Shelley’s manager for 40 years. He took up the post in 1989, after the band’s reunion. With his support, the group released their fourth studio album, 1993’s Trade Test Transmissions.

Buzzcocks shared a statement on their website: “Those of you who have met with him or spoken to him over the years know of his incredible history in the music industry and his integral part of our lives and careers. Likely he talked your ears off, but with a flare unique to himself, telling some amazing stories. Our memories of life on the road and life, in general, will never be forgotten”.
