Famed System of a Down singer and vocal acrobat Serj Tankian just dropped the track ‘Elasticity’ from his upcoming EP of the same name. Elasticity is set to release on March 19 via Alchemy Recordings/BMG.
The Armenian singer flaunts his range as he soars into higher registers, traces ecstatic melodies and spouts onomatopoeias he was kind enough to transcribe in the video’s description. His hectic performance compliments a driving hard rock song structure. ‘Elasticity’ was originally penned as a System of a Down track but Tankian continued to develop it once the group decided against releasing an album.
