Reports have emerged regarding the controversial Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler. Entertainment Weekly reported that Tyler has been formally named as a defendant in a lawsuit initiated last December alleging that he sexually abused a minor back in the ’70s. Tyler was previously identified as Defendant Doe 1, and the court provided legal approval to name him this past Wednesday, while Julia Misley is now seeking an unspecified amount of compensation and a trial.

Misley met Tyler in 1973 after attending an Aerosmith concert in Oregon, and she was invited backstage and later to his hotel room. Misley accused the rock icon of sexually abusing her that night and of also assaulting her in a hotel room after Aerosmith’s next show in Seattle, where Tyler allegedly paid to fly her out to go to.

Decades have passed since Steven Tyler’s sexual misconduct allegations. Madonna called out Tyler onstage, saying if his two fingers touched her, it’d be abuse. Aerosmith member Steven Tyler has been reportedly sued for having sexual relations with a minor in the 70s, claiming guardianship of her to remain in a relationship while on tour, and forcing her to receive an abortion at the age of 17 when she allegedly became pregnant with Tyler’s child.

Tyler’s accuser Julia Holcomb, who now goes by Julia Misley, addressed her allegations that the Aerosmith frontman sexually assaulted her when she was 16 years old in 1973. Julia Holcomb, who has long claimed Steven Tyler made her abort their baby in the 1970s when she was just 17, files lawsuit accusing Tyler of sexual assault, sexual battery, & intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The 65-year-old had filed a lawsuit alleging sexual assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress, according to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone in a report published Thursday.

In a statement obtained by Fox News Digital, Holcomb, who is represented by Los Angeles-based attorney Jeff Anderson, explained she was taking legal action due to California legislation that temporarily lifted the statute of limitations for victims of childhood sexual abuse to file lawsuits against their abusers.
