The Divine Comedy to play Towersey Festival in 2023Neil Hannon and Co will join the next year’s edition of the long-running festival in Claydon Estate, Buckinghamshire.

The chamber pop collective from Northern Ireland will join the line-up of Towersey Festival. It is so far the only band’s performance planned for 2023. Despite the name that refers to the original location in Oxfordshire, the festival will take place at the historical estate in Buckinghamshire.

The Towersey Festival’s history is interesting. With its first edition in 1965, it has been managed by generations of the same family. The first edition was organised by Denis Manners, the grandfather of the current director Joe Heap. The festival initially took place in the Oxfordshire Village of Towersey. It moved to Claydon Estate in Buckinghamshire in 2020.

Towersey Festival will 25 28 August 2023. More information and tickets are on the official site of the festival.
