It’s almost time to find out what happens next in Rue and Jules’ story in Euphoria.
This week,HBO unleashed the trailer for the Jules-centered next episode that includes a clip of Billie Eilishand Rosalía‘s highly-anticipated collaboration “Lo Vas A Olvidar.”
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, production and filming for season 2 of Euphoria has been delayed. As a result, the HBO show decided to release two standalone episodes to keep fans entertained while they wait for the new season. Last month, viewers reunited with Zendaya‘s Rue as she continues to deal with her addiction and decision to not follow Jules to the city.
Now, it’s time for Jules to share her side of the story. The new episode, called Fuck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob, officially premieres on HBO on Sunday, Jan. 24. However, HBO Max subscribers will get to watch the entire episode early on Friday, Jan 22.
The new episode follows Jules, played by Hunter Schafer, over the Christmas holiday as she looks back on the year. The entire episode was produced under COVID-19 guidelines and Schafer co-wrote the episode with creator Sam Levinson.
This week, Euphoria fans got an exclusive look at the highly-awaited episode in a moving new trailer. As well, the new visual includes a clip of Billie Eilish and Rosalía’s highly-anticipated collaboration “Lo Vas A Olvidar.”
Eilish confirmed a collab with Rosalía was on the way back in 2019. However, Eilish didn’t spill too many details to Annie Mac at the time.
“She knows what she wants, it’s very refreshing,” she said. “I was like, ‘wow, you’re the only person I’ve met who’s really like this.’ She’s the nicest girl, oh my god.”
“Lo Vas A Olvidar” and its official music video arrives on Thursday, Jan. 21 ahead of the Euphoria episode’s premiere.
So far, Eilish hasn’t shared too many details about her upcoming album. However, she did reveal she has no plans to release it during the pandemic. As well, back in December, Eilish seemingly confirmed that her next musical era was on the way.
