The Smashing Pumpkins are nearing the end of their summer tour with Interpol, and next they’ll ring in the 30th anniversary of their enduring second record, Siamese Dream, with a special event.

Madame Zuzu’s — Billy Corgan’s Highland Park, Illinois tea shop — will become a Tower Records pop-up for four days, wrapping up with a pair of acoustic Smashing Pumpkins sets on Sept. 17, at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. They’re being billed as “the same set played on the evening of July 27, 1993,” with music from the then-just released Siamese Dream, and the second set will stream on Veeps.
