New reports have emerged from WDAF-TV (Fox 4 Kansas City) that noted that Tool drummer Danny Carey is scheduled to appear in Kansas City, Missoury court on December 15.

Danny Carey set for court appearance

The court appearance comes about one year after the Kansas City International Airport incident that took place on December 12 last year. As the source also added, the records show that the case has continued seven times during the past year.

The incident in question involves Danny Carey’s arrest for a misdemeanor assault. The musician was allegedly involved in a fight with an unnamed man at the airport on that day. In a ticket issued by officers, Carey “intentionally inflicted injury when he allegedly yelled a homophobic slur at the victim,” shouting “You’re a f****** f*****.” It further adds that “Officers said he yelled the homophobic slur repeatedly while jabbing the victim in the chest with two fingers.”

At the time, Danny was allegedly in the area for the revival of the Kansas-Missouri basketball showdown. Aside from being from Kansas, Carey is known for being a basketball fan and “played with the KU Basketball Pep Band at the Missouri vs. Kansas college basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence the day before his arrest.”
