Will Daisy Jones & the Six go on tour?

After three weeks of spending time on the road with Daisy Jones & the Six and their debut album Aurora, the final episode of the Amazon series is set to air tomorrow, March 24. But will it really be the end of the band?

Series showrunner Scott Neustadter told AP that “it would be an amazing thing” if the cast went on tour. “I would buy a ticket for sure, and I know that they could do it because I’ve heard them and seen them do it … if the timing could work that would be the coolest thing ever,” he added.

It was important to Neustadter and the crew that Daisy Jones & the Six felt as real as possible. “One of the goals was to make the songs so good that l you just wanted to hear it,” he said. “And I think everyone involved kind of put their head down and said, ‘They are real band and no one can tell us otherwise.'”

In AP‘s recent cover story on Daisy Jones & the Six, more of the cast and crew revealed that they were hoping to see the band live. Music supervisor Frankie Pine hopes the band will we musical guests on Saturday Night Live, while Suki Waterhouse was envisioning a show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

Daisy Jones & the Six’s debut album Aurora was released on March 2, a day before the series premiered. It was the first album by a fictional band to reach No. 1 on iTunes. Blake Mills was the lead producer and songwriter on the record, and the tracks were penned by Mills, as well as Phoebe Bridgers, Madison Cunningham, Marcus Mumford, Jackson Browne and Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith. The lead producer and songwriter was Blake Mills.
