13th & Locust: An Update on Mumia Abu-Jamal and His Path to Freedom

A few days ago I visited 13th and Locust in Philadelphia to get an update on Mumia Abu-Jamal and his path to freedom.

On December 9, 1981, Mumia was framed in the killing of a Philadelphia police officer on the corner of 13th and Locust.

On July 30, 2021, his grandson, Jamal Jr, and long time supporter Noelle Hanrahan of Prison Radio, met at the intersection to talk about the current state of his health and path to freedom.

Pick up a FREE copy of the 40 page Jamal Journal Issue #1, outlining everything you need to know about this case.
