Larry Krasner and The Black Messiah Mumia Abu-Jamal, a betrayal of justice and of The People

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner ran on a “progressive criminal justice reform” platform yet filed a legal brief on February 3rd denying ex-Black Panther and award winning journalist, Mumia Abu-Jamal, the right to present new evidence that could prove his innocence. In December 2018 Judge Leon Tucker granted an appeal request for Mumia in light of significant evidence indicating judicial and prosecutorial misconduct stemming from his 1982 murder conviction. Larry Krasner’s betrayal of justice and of The People must not be understated.
