NORRA HOSPITALET – EN REGNIG DAG – HARDCORE WORLDWIDE

On a rainy day a few years ago, parts of the Norra Hospitalet tripped on Yana Stanislavovna “Yanka” Dyagileva (1966 -1991) for the first time.
She was a Russian poet and musician active in Novosibirsk, Russia and as one of the few women a large part of the Siberian punk scene in the 80´s.
We have chosen to interpret “на черный день” (na cherniyy den’) (for a rainy day) translated into “En regnig dag” in Swedish.
This interpretation is a tribute to “Yanka” but also to the entire Russian punk scene.
We would like to thank Petter Alatalo who with his accordion takes us on a trip to Russia in Swedish and Lotta Almqvist for the Swedish translation of the text.
