“There’s a silver lining in all this sadness that I try to find. What it is: you guys are gonna lose someone you love. Someone you love is gonna lose you eventually. When death and grief happen you have to learn to take a lesson from when they used to do good to the people that you know…And I think a lot of his real close friends are doing the right thing by saying, “I need to be more like Tim (Butcher).” And when you all pass and when I pass I want people to say the same thing about me, and about you guys. This is a new song, I called it “Waiting Around to Die” and it’s about taking advantage of life while you have it. Not to be good for some god…but to be excellent to each other because that’s how it is. You can either create and build, or you can destroy. Butcher was a creator and I want you guys to all be creators, too.”
