After an outstanding full-length Good Times Until They Become Good Memories and Vacant EP, London-based band Forecast returns with another exceptional track that will unquestionably appeal to all the post-hardcore fans. Pollador is their first piece of work since the Vacant EP, and it showcases a natural progression of a band that never ceases to amaze. Perhaps Forecast rely upon the fundamentals of post-hardcore sound, but their music carries some of the finest properties borrowed from melodic hardcore, metalcore, hardcore, and screamo. Of course, Pollador sounds consistent and well-balanced from scratch to finish, so these additional elements serve as necessary enhancements, accentuations, decorations, and other details that define some of the best post-hardcore tracks.

As soon as you press play, you’ll notice that Forecast are not wasting time. Pollador arrives as a direct punch in the face with all the power, energy, and aggression immediately delivered to your listening apparatus. Besides thoughtfully assembled riffs, chord progressions, detailed basslines, and dynamic beats, Pollador carries some of the best melodies, harmonies, and leads you’ll hear this year. Forecast unquestionably thought about the entire structure, so every segment comes with many time-signature changes, wild tempos, complex musicianship, and many other details that define this fine piece of sonic artistry. It’s also nearly mindblowing how the lead vocalist perfectly matches all these orchestrations with flawlessly performed vocal harmonies, screams, and shouts. You can also expect many singalongs implemented in all the right places, and the remainder of the band nailed that part too. Pollador will be your go-to track whenever you need contemporary post-hardcore music, and Forecast deserves your utmost attention. The single is available on all streaming platforms.
