Disrockers in the 2000s tend to still ride classic British and Swedish-style motorcycles, as well as classic Japanese bikes, with motörcharged riffs and thumping d-beats in a sweaty drunken pits, however, classically styled European squat racers are now also seen, such as Varese’s (Northern Italy) Motron, to incorporate their own country’s tradition of raging punk and ’80s hardcore style.
Featuring members of some of my favorite Italian crust and punk-rock bands (Kontatto, Miseria, Campus Sterminii, Pioggia Nera, and Devoid Of Thought), this five-piece have mastered the art of playing furious speed-punk with roaring growls, galloping d-beats and retro-thrash craze guitar solos. Nothing more and nothing less than 14 well-crafted tracks of blistering speed metal, old-fashioned squatter Italian hardcore punk, and Motörcharged rock’n’roll. And if you’re still not sure where they come from, they’ll remind you with the Nabat’s “Potere Nelle Strade” cover wrapping up this LP with a bang. Reminds me of Inepsy, Toxic Holocaust, and Italy’s best metal-punk goodness Children of Technology. Recommended dis-rock’n’roll banger!
