Venustra promotes a single named May, I, followed by a couple of bonus songs. Heavily inspired by the 2002 film “May” starring Angela Bettis, the composition is a loose interpretation of the madness caused by frustration and betrayal. The number follows the storyline of the movie. The main character is on a killing spree after each person who betrayed her in the past. The number is recorded, mixed, mastered by Synderella at the home studio in Austin, Texas. The single also includes two cover songs, Los Angeles by St. Vincent and Step Right Up by Adoration Destroyed.

Venustra started as a Misery Theatre, a high-school band but eventually evolved into a project over the years. In 2014, Misery Theatre became Venustra, fully operated by Synderella Nervosa. Since then, Venustra performs as a multimedia solo act. The project is heavily inspired by renowned acts, such as Dir en Grey, Rob Zombie, Wednesday 13, St. Vincent, Alice In Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Alice Cooper, Rammstein, and many other similar artists/bands. Therefore, you may expect a thoughtfully assembled mixture of industrial, goth rock, metal, punk rock, and alternative rock sound. May, I is available on streaming services such as Spotify, Bandcamp, Soundcloud, SongKick and YouTube.
