Arctic Monkeys announce 2023 UK and Ireland TourFollowing news of their forthcoming album The Car, Arctic Monkeys announce the biggest UK and Irish tour of their career to date.

Nick Hasted of The Independent wrote about Arctic Monkeys’ appearance at Wembley Arena in 2009: “The band reliably duck careerist, crowning moments, playing spindly sets at Glastonbury 2007 and this year’s Reading. But volume and momentum appropriate to their arena status is almost relentless now”. Yet, fourteen years later, the band announce the biggest tour of their career, planning to play thirteen shows in the UK and Ireland. Starting in Bristol and finishing in Glasgow, Arctic Monkeys will be accompanied by special guests “dangerous Swedes” The Hives and Liverpool alternative rockers The Mysterines.

The shows are set for May and June 2023. A full list of all forthcoming dates can be found here.

Tickets go on sale at 9 am on 30 September, with a fan presale beginning at 9 am on 29 September. Those who pre-order The Car from the band’s official website before 3 pm on Wednesday 28th September will get access to the fan presale.
