Avril Lavignehas announced that she will be touring Europe next year.
Lavigne was initially slated for a European run in support of her 2019 album Head Above Water, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced her to delay the dates.
In an Instagram post, the singer announced she will be hitting the road in 2022 with a caption, “Fuck yeah, I’m going on tour! Here are the Europe/UK dates.”
The news comes after Lavigne teased that her seventh studio album was finished. On the project, she worked with MOD SUN and Machine Gun Kelly as well as producer John Feldmann of Goldfinger to create the new pop-punk material, which will be a follow-up to Head Above Water.
“I’m working on making an album with Avril Lavigne right now who I just love,” Feldmann said last year. “I love making this album, I love her and I’m having the best time.”
