Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine recently wished her daughter on her birthday and posted picture with her that was snapped from backside.
His caption read:
“Happy Birthday to my special delivery! @electramustaine I have loved every moment of your life, and I look forward to many, many more years with you! Love, Dad”
Mustaine is no longer associated with Metallica. The conflicts that emerged from this split always come back into the public eye when Megadeth is doing press. However, Mustaine spoke highly of Metallica members, Lar Ulrich and James Hetfield.
But in the new interview for Songfacts, Megadeth mastermind did have a few good things to say about Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield. To some extent, at least.
Mustaine revealed that he is open to working with James and, despite he has a few nice things to say about Lars, he continued:
“I would love to work with James. I’d like to work with Lars again, too, but I think the real talent in Metallica has always been around the guitar — everybody makes fun of the drums.”
“Lars is a really great song arranger. And believe it or not, I watched him on a piece-of-shit acoustic guitar write the opening riff to ‘Ride the Lightning.’ [Sings riff for ‘Master of Puppets’]”
