Drake YolanDa Awards announce winners

The chair of the British Phonographic Industry, broadcaster and multi-instrumentalist YolanDa Brown has revealed the list of the Drake YolanDa Awards winners.

The jury, including YolanDa Brown, writer and BBC presenter Amy Lamé, Spotify London editor Joel Borquaye, and CEO at Young Voices choir Ben Lewis, announced the list of winners. Ten artists will be awarded £3000 each, with ten additional runner-up prizes of £500 each. The sum is intended to support each winner’s artistic development in areas including touring, artistic development, recording new music, music videos, marketing, branding and purchasing new equipment. The list includes the following acts: ​​JERUB, Kymara, B-ahwe, John Dhali, Renato Paris, Finn Doherty, Ceitidh Mac, Ana De Llor.

The Awards Ceremony and Live Performance will take place at Boisdale Canary Wharf on 10 October 2022 at 6pm. Tickets are available here.
