Futurama Festival 2022 is cancelled

After several postponements earlier, the festival team decided to cancel the event this year.

The two-day festival, celebrating post-punk and electronic music, was scheduled for 16-17 April 2022. The list of headliners featured New Model Army, The Skids, Peter Hook and the Light, A Certain Ratio, Chameleons,

The crew posted an official announcement on Facebook:

“The Futurama was booked as a one-off celebration event but nearly two years later it’s moved such a long way from that and there is still so much uncertainty about. We are gutted as so much work has gone into the Futurama but we are only a small team and planning has proved to be impossible recently with so many unknown variables that are beyond our control at present. It is not a decision that we have taken lightly especially because the bands, managers and agents have been amazing and completely supportive.”
