Iain Key Announces Indie Brunch SpecialsLouder Than War Radio is celebrating its 1st Birthday of broadcasting next week on 3rd November.

To mark the occasion Iain Key has produced 3 very special feature-length Indie Brunch Interview specials with artists who have influenced his musical journey as well as special edition of his Indie Brunch featuring Mr James Robert Morrison, aka Jim Bob on 29th October (available on Mixcloud)

Nigel Carr has generously given his slot so these shows can be broadcast on Wednesday evenings from 9pm. The extended career spanning interviews feature 3 artists from the C86 era and include a selection of tracks from the artists themselves as well as handful Iain has picked also.

Iain Key Announces Indie Brunch Specials

The line up is as follows…

2nd November: Iain will be talking to Sean Dickson of The Soup Dragons, taking you on a journey from the streets of Bellshill to the fringes of Paisley Park. Sean has recently remastered the pick of early Soup Dragons track for releases due before the end of the year

9th November: Join Iain as he sits down with Amelia Fletcher and Rob Pursey, looking over their musical careers from Talulah Gosh to Swansea Sound via Heavenly, Tender Trap, Catenary Wires and Skep Wax. The duo are about to begin a reissue campaign of material long since unavailable which was originally released on the legendary Sarah Records label.

16th November: Iain goes international chatting to Dave Newton of The Mighty Lemon Drops and looking over the bands career ahead of the Cherry Red Records box set, Inside Out – 1985-1990.

All shows will feature exclusive tracks from forthcoming releases on Precious Recordings of London, Past Night From Glasgow, Cherry Red and Skep Wax as well as some rarities from the artists personal collections

All shows will be available to replay / catch up on via Mixcloud following initial broadcast
