Now, it looks like Miley Cyrus has seen the TikTok and has a few things to say about it.
In case you didn’t know, Miley Cyrus and Lil Nas X are pretty good friends. This is largely due to Lil Nas X’s chart-topping collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus on “Old Town Road – Remix.” In fact, the trio even performed the iconic collab together during Miley Cyrus’ Glastonbury set in 2019. During the set, Cyrus also covered a Metallica classic which appears on her upcoming Metallica covers album.
Now, it looks like Lil Nas X is bringing back Cyrus’ Disney past. Earlier this week, Lil Nas X posted a TikTok parody poking fun at Hannah Montana. The brief visual shows Lil Nas X re-enacting a scene where Miley decides she doesn’t want to be Hannah Montana anymore. As a result, she takes off the blonde wig that somehow managed to conceal her identity for so many years.
The TikTok, which is captioned “I hope Miley don’t block me for this,” has already been viewed over 12 million times on the video-sharing platform.

Naturally, the video made its rounds on the internet and eventually caught the attention of Miley Cyrus. Of course, Cyrus had the best response to Lil Nas X poking fun at Hannah Montana. Rather than getting defensive, Cyrus also makes fun of Hannah Montana and her “crying wolf” wig reveals fans of the show will be familiar with.
“Again? The old Hannah reveal is losing its shock value,” Cyrus says. “You do this every fucking week, Miley.”
Cyrus also seemingly gives a nod to her Hannah Montana co-star in the video. She can be seen wearing a pastel purple wig that Lily, played by Emily Osment, wore various times in the Disney series.
“What Lily is really thinking when Miley presses send on ANOTHER Hannah reveal,” the video caption says.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Hannah Montana has inspired TikToks in recent months. Last summer, one TikToker decided to mashup the “Best of Both Worlds” with Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s “WAP.” Naturally, the surprising mashup earned a lot of different reactions online.
