The lyrics on this album, Empathy For The Evil, are closely hinged to the novel I was writing at the time. The Black Dot Museum Of Political Art (literary fiction) is about a museum curator who cures narcissism, but it also chronicles the childhood of the protagonist’s mother (and her angry father). Why is this significant? Evidently narcissism may be the result of a traumatic incident in formative years, one that was too much for the child to deal with.
