New York Times writer Nick Marino bought two of my $100 USD paintings quite a while ago and subsequently became intrigued with the artist residency project. We spoke for a couple of hours back in August, and then, months later, a NYT fact checker asked me about 50 questions ensuring that it was all fit to print. The rest may or may not be history.
