When we started Mecca Normal 40 years ago, we intuitively amalgamated ideas and beliefs without following a template that replicated what already existed. I never would have guessed we’d be utilizing songs written in the 1980s within current projects. Turns out, there is something to be said for taking on the whole damn world.
