“Playing God” is the first song Polyphia have released since 2019. The track was produced by Tim Henson, Scott LePage, JUDGE, Y2K and Johan Lenox.

The track is a blend of the highs and lows characteristic of electronic music and the easy-listening nature of bossa nova. It is also the first song Polyphia have released using nylon string guitars.
