The pioneers of the Scottish new wave have released a video for their single from the forthcoming album Direction Of The Heart.
The video was filmed last month at Simple Minds’ concert in the Ancient Theatre Taormina, Sicily. This show was part of the band’s rescheduled 40 Years of Hits Tour.
Vision Thing features music composed by Simple Minds’ co-founder Charlie Burchill and lyrics written by the band’s frontman Jim Kerr. The song is dedicated to Kerr’s father who passed away in 2019.
Direction Of The Heart will be released on 21 October via BMG.
