Sophie Powers has released her debut EP, Red In Revenge, via Set Records. Listen to it below.

Powers is commanding and dynamic on her inaugural EP. Each track embodies confidence and swagger as Powers navigates a synth-heavy metropolis of sound.

On Red In Revenge, Powers’ delivery is just as forceful and cutting as her accompaniment. She’s eager to prove herself, but that doesn’t mean she can’t call you out for believing she should have to.

In a press release, Powers discussed her inspiration for the EP, which boasts collabs with Kellin Quinn, DE’WAYNE and more.

“After turning 16, I quickly realized the world was not the place I was told it would be,” Powers says. “It’s not easy to make your dreams come true. It’s not even easy to dream, which made me angry.”

Additionally, Powers chatted with Alternative Press earlier this year for issue #402, discussing what her career and success mean to her.

“I want to take a bigger step in my career in terms of dedication. I want to be doing this a lot more often and perfect my craft rather than trying to just get things off the ground,” Powers says. “Right now, I am a new artist, but in 2022, I hope to solidify my name and what I stand for. I think showcasing the things I stand for is really important to me, having those open conversations about mental health, global warming, about genuine experiences and important topics like equality.”

Powers will be touring the U.S. alongside NOAHFINNCE in 2022. Get your tickets here, and check below for tour dates.
