55 years ago today, the Beach Boys went to the San Diego Zoo to shoot the cover for Pet Sounds. Due to unruly behavior, Brian Wilson and Co. were banned from the zoo for life. Said a zoo spokesperson, “One of them bounced a carrot off the head of one of our tigers. Another tried to stick the head of a little antelope through some iron bars.
