The Pagans S.O.H.

The Pagans S.O.H. are back with an massive slab of hip hop psych funk to go crazy on your ears. Emergence Of Forgotten Power has always been a live favourite if you’ve had the pleasure of catching them on our underground scene and this return sees them blasting their way onto 6 Music on the day of release. I swear you won’t hear a funkier song to end the year. Read on…

The Pagans (Shepherds Of Humanity) are  undoubtedly a band that know how to bring it in abundance, and we’re talking about the good times, the craziness and the music! They do it all in equal measure with some pretty epic results. They know how to enjoy themselves while creating their art and it shows.

One listen to Emergence Of Forgotten Power and you can’t help but be drawn into their funky psychedelic, rocking world. The Pagans are a four piece band from West Bromwich made up of  Marcus Lesycsyznski-Hall on Vocals, Daragh Guest on Guitar, Conor Hodgkiss on Drums and Nathaniel Hellier-Allport on Bass.

Following on from the release of their single on the 18th November, the Brummie lads are now back and ready to tantalise the world with the accompanying official video to the track.

Bringing elements of paganism into play, what better day to release the video than Tuesday 21st December 2021 and the Pagan celebration of the Winter Solstice!

The video itself starts off with the lads all messing around and just generally having a laugh. An ordinary day spent without a care in the world, just playing around, but then things take on a darker more psychedelic edge….. what’s happening here??!!! is that a half naked, bearded man or is that in my imagination……… see for yourselves here.

The video concept was devised by the band and was filmed on local location and produced and edited by Paul Husband.

Emergence Of  Forgotten Power was Recorded, Mixed and Produced at Magic Garden Studios In Wolverhampton by Gavin Monaghan.

Emergence of Forgotten Power cover artwork was designed and created by Pablo Fiasco.
