Motherwell, Scotland post-rock trio A Sudden Burst Of Colour premieres a brand new single today. Pulsator serves as a proper continuation of Transgressor/Decoder, an extended play released last year. The group goes even deeper into experimentations and thoroughly examines the electronic sound. For this particular single, A Sudden Burst Of Colour teamed up with about:river, an Estonian duo who gave a proper remix treatment to this track. This transformation perfectly suits the visionary group such as A Sudden Burst Of Colour, and it provides even more space for improvisations and experimentations with the sound. These changes in sound will pleasantly surprise the die-hard fans of the group but it will also gather some new admirers.

Still, A Sudden Burst Of Colour retains the essence of their sound, which is deeply rooted in contemporary post-rock. It’s nearly mindblowing how electronic music intervenes with post-rock in such a unique, fresh, and beautiful way. As soon as you press play, you’ll notice how the group thoughtfully composed and arranged Pulsator, so all the elements could breathe during the entire composition. It’s unquestionably one of the best instrumental tracks you’ll experience. Pulsator is available for listening on all streaming services.
