Nashville, Tennessee indie duo ALíCO recently released a brand new single. Gabrielle is the third release in a row from a series of singles launched this year. Unlike their previous singles, We Don’t Love Each Other Anymore and Monica, which were more of indie-pop songs, Gabrielle leans much more towards contemporary pop-punk and melodic punk rock. This drastic change appeals to the initial musical direction of the duo, who retained indie aesthetics, but somehow decorated style with much heavier and dynamic sound. Gabrielle demonstrates the brilliance of the ALíCO, who prove that they like to experiment, but at the same time keep some segments of their original sound.

Still, that’s not all because the group promotes the self-titled full-length album with this single. The album showcases even more experimentations along the way. ALíCO stacked up this full-length with pop-punk, indie rock, indie pop, emo tunes, and each composition perfectly suits the remainder of the album. It’s more than obvious that the duo thought about everything while writing, composing, recording this album. You should check them out if you’re into contemporary pop-punk, indie rock, and indie-pop. The single and the album are available for listening on all streaming services.
