Rising UK alt-rockers Call to the Faithful have shared their new single ‘Let Me Down’. The first single from the band’s upcoming debut EP STRONG / STABLE / SUFFER, ‘Let Me Down’ comes with a visually striking music video directed by Paul England.

On ‘Let Me Down’, the bandcomment: “It’s about the breakdown of relationships and when things start to get nasty. It’s fuelled by the experience of Matt (vocals) and his ex-girlfriend starting at separate universities and the resentment starting to creep in, then them breaking up after a month making him feel like he had lost everything and was in a new scary place all alone.

“It’s a very personal account of what Matt experienced, but it can be applied to anyone feeling like they’ve lost everything and are having to start from scratch or just general resentment of a person. Generally quite a hateful song coming from an unhealthy state of mind. We wanted the song to be quite dark and grungy to reflect this with a strong backbeat to push through the message.”

Peterborough alt-punk quartet Call to the Faithful have been winning over fans with their electrifying live shows and passionate performances across the UK. The band was born out of a burning desire to shake things up and inspire a new generation of the disillusioned to fight for what they believe in. Following 2022’s anti-establishment punk rock anthem ‘The Problem’ – a track which elevated the band’s rising reputation nationally with radio play on BBC IntroducingTotal RockPrimordial Radio and Emerging Rock Bands – Call to the Faithful are clapping back with their debut EP, STRONG / STABLE / SUFFER – a fierce declaration of their unyielding spirit and uncompromising vision.

With influences that range from nu-metal to punk, the band refuse to be pigeonholed. Their music is a raw, unapologetic expression of the frustration, anger and passion inspired by the modern age. Whether they’re delivering blistering guitar riffs or spitting acerbic vocal hooks, this band makes their presence felt.

But Call to the Faithful are more than just a band; they’re a movement. They’re a voice for a generation that refuses to be silenced or marginalised. Their music is both anthemic and introspective, exploring themes of resilience, perseverance, and hope in the face of adversity. It speaks to the struggles and triumphs of young people today, whether it’s the fight for social justice, the battle against mental illness, or the search for meaning in a world that often seems cruel and senseless.
