Calum Ingram returns with another fine piece of sonic artistry that will appeal to all the fans of flawlessly written, composed, arranged, recorded, and produced music. After his outstanding collaboration with American cellist Michael G Ronstadt, Ingram offers “The Man,” and otherwordly exploration into many different but complementary music genres. Perhaps rock comes to mind first, but Calum Ingram fully stacked this composition not only with the fundamentals of this genre, but also with some of the finest properties borrowed from classic rock, blues rock, progressive rock, and rock ‘n’ roll. Still, that’s not all. Quite the contrary, this clever singer-songwriter made a step further by introducing funk, disco, groove, and pop elements into this sonic equation.
