After three eventful years, that saw the release of two new albums and two remix compilations, German new wave outfit Sea of Sin finally announce the release of a new single called “Synchronize”, as well as a forthcoming remix by The KVB and Zoot Woman to be released in June and July.

Over the past months, Frank (vocals, lyrics) and Klaus (synths, guitars, production) have worked extensively on new material, selecting favourites and finally recording and producing five new songs to be released in 2022.

“Synchronize” is a dynamic track that soars with captivating and catchy pop hooks while being also thoughtful, atmospheric, and melancholic. Although anchored in these intense emotions, there is a distinct mid-80s flavor to the song, with lyrical and melodic juxtaposition that brings to mind the introspection of The Colourfield and Prefab Sprout. This latest single is an excellent progression for the Sea of Sin, showcasing how the band continues their exploration of brilliant guitar sounds with their electronic synthpop sensibilities.

In addition to the upcoming remixes for the new single, Frank and Klaus have also worked on noteworthy collaborations with other well-known artists, including the legendary Anne Clark,  Camouflage (of The Great Commandment” fame), Mesh, and The New Division.
