Noise Appeal Records are back with another tremendous release. Love & Order by Lausch is their brand new release that combines several complementary music genres like nineties rock, post-rock, art rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, noise rock, and post-punk to create an unconventional yet captivating sound full of hidden surprises. After five critically acclaimed albums like Nothing But Not, Friend Of The Captain, Canada Is Falling, Glass Bones, Quiet Man, a live album such as Could Haves, and many singles along the way, you could only assume what Lausch prepared for their fans this time. The heavy chord progressions, aggressive riffs, progressive virtuosities, themes, leads, melodies, and harmonies create a beautiful ambiance that instantly draws you in and captures your attention. Their experimentation with all the beforementioned music genres is just one of the qualities Lausch carry in their sleeves, while the sheer creativity, talent, experience, and skills are the other side of the coin that makes Love & Order even more ear-appealing. This particular release isn’t for those listeners who seek simplistic alternative music but for those bold, curious, profound fans who dare to dive deep into a vast world of cleverly assembled music.

Their music exudes emotional depth, which is discernible throughout the album. The album begins with Private Science Fiction, a catchy track that instantly sets an immersive tone for the listeners. The song embraces all the vital elements of alternative, progressive rock, art rock, noise rock, and indie rock, and its upbeat tempo pulls you into a luxurious polyphonic maelstrom and prepares your mind for the rest of the album. The track’s overlapping melodies provide a bedrock for the emotive lyrics to create an experience that leaves you wanting more. The second song on the album, Glitter, Gold & Acid, is an atmospheric, reverby, heavy number with a soft touch of stoner, sludge, and post-rock. The gradual buildups and climactic ending make this song a remarkable musical experience. The subsequent silence and the beautifully crafted harmonics leave the listeners in awe. Universe In A Universe is one of those abstract, ambiental numbers that starts with beautiful psychedelic orchestrations and vocal arrangements but gradually becomes more orchestral, heavy, and echoic. Sue Me is another beautifully crafted masterpiece that perfectly encapsulates the musicality showcased throughout the album. The song’s energetic beginning takes the listener on a journey, accompanied by excellent progressive leads. The addition of back vocals and singalongs in the background was a brilliant touch that gave the song an even more delicate atmosphere. The remainder of the album surprises even more, and each following composition invites you to dive even deeper into Lausch’s luxurious sound. It would be such a shame if you miss the opportunity to merge into incredible orchestrations provided by these outstanding Austrian musicians.

Love & Order by Lausch is a captivating album that showcases the band’s immense musical talent. Their ability to combine multiple genres while infusing their unique touch creates a beautiful musical experience for even the pickiest fans of the beforementioned genres. Of course, Noise Appeal Records did an incredible job by putting this tremendous album. Love & Order comes on limited black and pearl white album, standard black vinyl, compact disc, and it’s also available on streaming services.
