A vast collection of rare, and often never-seen-before, photos of the world’s most iconic musicians from The Beatles to the Sex Pistols, arrive this Fall as Quidd and POP Culture, Inc. release a slate of archival photos from the vaults of Retna Pictures and London Features International.

The initial release, arriving Sept. 26, focuses exclusively on The Beatles, with images spanning the length of their career, from their early mop top era performances, the band’s Help! and Hard Day’s Night promotional tours, John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s “bed in,” and a shot from one of The Beatles’ final photo sessions, with the foursome posing in front of Lennon’s white Rolls-Royce. The collection will be available here: https://drops.onquidd.com/starchives/beatles.

Additional drops are slated for later in the year, with a Halloween-themed collection, playfully dubbed “Helloween,” featuring images of David Bowie (Ziggy Stardust era), Ozzy Osbourne and KISS, arriving in late October, as well as a Nov. 17 release centered exclusively on the release of David Bowie’s 1967 self-titled, debut album.

“We are excited about these magical collections, showcasing many photos that have never before been seen,” says Hayden Michael, CEO of POP Culture, Inc., of the collection that features multiple millions of photographs. “Our curator, Chris Vranian, has spent countless hours searching in old filing cabinets, most of which had not seen the light of day in half a century.”

“Quidd continues to redefine the world of collecting, this time with exclusive treasures from music history. This Fall, we’re thrilled to partner with POP Culture, Inc. to unveil rare, unseen photos of legendary musicians. I, personally, am so excited to be a small part of getting these iconic photos out to the public!” says Jon Nelson, Vice President of Pop Culture/Quidd.

The images, which will be available exclusively via Quidd’s marketplace as digital collectibles, feature a high-resolution scan of the slide as it was found in the archives. A bonus to collectors and fans are the archivists’ handwritten notes from when the slides were initially catalogued. As part of the drop, 10 random buyers will receive 12” x 12” physical prints made from the slides.
