The deluxe version offers special features from true flagship artists in the scene, reimagining two of the record’s singles. Pat Miranda of Movements lends his vocals to Coming Home, and SayAnything’s Max Bemis collaborates on All I Ever Wanted Was A Chance To Know Myself. Vocalist and bassist AJPerdomo is enthusiastic about working with musicians as impactful as Miranda and Bemis, “Working with Pat and Max is a dream come true, and it really spans time and space. I grew up listening to Say Anything, and it was an honor that Max would even consider being on the track. He is a genius, and when I heard what he wrote the track, it blew my mind. Then you have Pat, who is blowing up, I think Movements brought a really fresh breath into the scene, and carved their own world. So it was cool of Pat to pour himself out onto ‘Coming Home’. He is such a good singer, a professional, and a great writer.” Highlighting the value of collaboration within the genre he adds, “Truly humbling, and exciting to collaborate more, one thing I don’t think rock music does enough of.

I was super excited when The Dangerous Summer reached out to have me on a song,” shares PatMiranda. “They’ve solidified themselves over the years as being one of those bands who consistently puts out really good stuff, and it was an honor to be asked to collaborate! I spoke with AJ about these lyrics prior to writing my part so I could get a better understanding of the song and really make my part feel like it was meant for the track. I found AJ’s lyricism super inspiring and coming up with my additions was a breeze.”

The Dangerous Summer signed their first record deal as high school seniors and quickly established themselves among the alt-rock world’s elite. Passionate delivery, confessional authenticity, and deeply resonant musical storytelling define their sound. The band writes hooks that serve as soundtracks for important life moments for a diverse group of listeners spread across the globe.

They’ve never sacrificed their unique, diverse sonic identity, one that appeals to fans of everything from Kings Of Leon and Coldplay to Jimmy Eat World and Bright Eyes. ‘Coming Home‘ is a triumphant summary of what the band is all about – past, present, and future.
