It’s their first standalone single, arriving as an adequate follow-up of “Lost Soul,” an outstanding EP released earlier this year. Soundwise, The Trusted combines many different but complementary music genres to illustrate such rich and luxurious sonic imagery. They incorporate the fundamentals of indie music with some of the finest properties borrowed from punk rock, garage rock, and alternative, but don’t be surprised if you stumble upon many other styles along the way. These additional elements serve as more than necessary enhancements that unquestionably uplift their music on a completely new level while the band simultaneously remains loyal to the primary sonic direction. As soon as you press play, you’ll hear how they fire tremendous power, energy, and dynamics from every possible direction. These folks mean business and aren’t afraid to showcase all the sonic weaponry in their arsenal. The singer commands attention by offering expertly sung vocal harmonies. His outstanding performance based upon clean and distorted shouts emphasizes everything The Trusted tried to achieve with this track while the perfect balance between low, mid, and high notes decorates all the segments and instrumentations with such ease. You’ll hear how the guitars play a significant role in shaping a raw, abrasive, fuzzy ambiance. The heavily distorted chord progressions and riffs arrive as a colossal wall of sound, tearing everything in a broader radius.
