Hot on the heals of their Nirvana covers album Blessings of the Highest Order which was released in June, Louisiana sludge metal stalwarts Thou have shared a new album of non-Nirvana covers titled A Primer of Holy Words. Featuring covers of Shellac, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Agents of Oblivion, Born Against, Minor Threat and Black Sabbath, the eleven-song set is typically unforgiving and intense.
